MEMORIAL PARKLAND

Public BBQ

Memorial Parkland stands out as arguably the finest playground destination in Stirling North, combining comprehensive recreational facilities with mature shade trees and well-maintained lawns. The park's crown jewel remains its playground equipment, though visitors note the absence of overhead coverage for the main play area. A covered pavilion with seating provides respite. The facility's unique distinction lies in housing one of the few swing sets in the greater Port Augusta region. Beyond the playground, the park offers a bike track, basketball court, and small oval with football goals, creating a comprehensive recreational hub. Barbecue facilities receive consistent praise for their cleanliness and functionality, complemented by shaded tables and benches scattered throughout the grounds. The toilets maintain good standards, though their lighting attracts insects during warmer months.
